About the Big Nerd

Hi all! My name is Scatty (well not really but that is what you can call me). I’m the Big Nerd from Three Nerds and a Book Club (which is a casual online book club and we’d all love to have you so go check us out) . I love reading and have loved reading my whole life. Though for a while there I didn’t read much because of school and life and reasons. BUT I am back to my usual reading (if not more) from before. Here I will keep track of books I read, challenges I take part in and book reviews.

I’m a current full time undergraduate student and plan to graduate this May with a BS for Animal Science. And then after that I really don’t know what I’ll be doing. Other than reading that is.

I like both the printed word and the digital word and my preference changes depending on when you ask me. I do love digital books though from amazon as a way to support new and upcoming authors. I have gotten many books on my kindle from self publishing authors and there is just this huge pool of untapped talent that needs to be known. This is why I love having a kindle and why I love amazon. I will give most any book a chance, but if I don’t like it by page 50 I will probably give up. I really enjoy fantasy but have recently been reading more contemporary fiction and a bit of dystopia. But really I will read any genre if the book sounds good. I love book suggestions so if you have any please send them over! 🙂
