Book Description: IT’S NOT EVERYDAY YOU FIND YOURSELF IN COMBAT WITH A HALF-LION, HALF-HUMAN.
But when you’re the son of a Greek god, it happens. And now my friend Annabeth is missing, a goddess is in chains and only five half-blood heroes can join the quest to defeat the doomsday monster.
Oh and guess what. The Oracle has predicted that not all of us will survive…
This is by far my favorite Percy Jackson and the Olympians novel. I liked seeing the characters develop from book one and see how the story has also grown with them. The adventures now have deadly consequences and everything wasn’t always hunky dory. The obstacles that Percy and company had to deal with were more interesting and I liked learning more background about the characters that were there. I really liked the hunters in this story and being exposed to more gods/goddesses/titans. I’m really excited to see what happens next and I’ve already made requests for the last two books from the library.
